The Characters of KissPlay
The Transformers: KissPlay continuity is spread out amongst several different media:
- The KissPlay Manga series serialized in Dengeki Daioh magazine
- The packaging and trading cards included with the KissPlay toys
- The audio dramas broadcast on the radio shows "Lyrian Moecchao" and "Transformers KissPlay TF Information Office"
- The supplemental information included on TakaraTomy's official KissPlay site.

Unfortunately, the radio play episodes and manga issues were not released in chronological order. Since no specific dates are given for the events of KissPlay, some of the details are vague or contradictory. The information contained in these pages are subject to change.

The Characters of the KissPlay Position Cassetron set
In late 2006, TakaraTomy worked with the voice actresses for the KissPlay radio show to produce the KissPlay Position Cassetron set, exclusive to the Japanese online store e-HOBBY. The set consisted of three cassettes whose color schemes were chosen by the voice actress who would go on to voice the character in the second story arc of the radio play.

According to the e-HOBBY website, the character concepts were created by the voice actresses, with character designer Yuki Oshima expanding the concepts into a character bio. This character bio was further edited by the voice actresses, resulting in a character bio somewhat longer than usual.

The following character bios are unauthorized translations of the text on e-HOBBY's website.
